Following the sell-out success of its first edition, Trawsnewid: Transform returns to Aberystwyth on February 21–22, 2025.
This unique two-day festival, presented by Aberystwyth Arts Centre and FOCUS Wales, showcases Wales’ leading artists in an immersive blend of live music and cutting-edge visuals. Experience a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the vibrant cultural landscape of the west coast of Wales.
An intimate show by Mari & a transformational audio visual show exploring themes of welsh identity, culture , storytelling and folklore.
Sŵn Festival is an award-winning, multi-venue, contemporary music festival, which has been a cornerstone of Cardiff’s cultural landscape since 2007. With an unwavering commitment to showcasing new music and emerging talent, our festival programme celebrates a diverse array of artists, ranging from homegrown to international acts.
This SWN Spotlight Series will give a shining light on the highlights from SWN Festival 2024 festival.
Mari headlines with her full band this March , upstairs in Clwb Ifor Bach, Caerdydd. Bringing visual dreamscapes, Welsh folklore, storytelling and transformational celtic folk sounds with her session musicians , sweeping us away to the lands of the Preseli Landscape and the portal of Annwn. A very special live show with support from SAMANA & Peiriant.

FOCUS Wales 2025 will mark the festival’s 15th year, and will welcome over 22,000 people to the town, building upon 2024′s record attendance across a jam-packed weekend of events. There’s no place like Wrexham during FOCUS Wales, as we showcase 250+ artists from across the world, fill out a variety of spaces and music venues, using 20 stages, and hosting a full schedule of interactive industry sessions, arts events, and film screenings, throughout the festival. In addition to the delivery of the FOCUS Wales festival, we also deliver a number of international FOCUS Wales events throughout the year under the #WelshMusicAbroadbanner.

In 2025, the Festival Interceltique de Lorient is proud to welcome its cousins from across the Atlantic: from Acadia to Louisiana via Quebec, New Brunswick, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Boston and New York, the Lorient lands will vibrate with accents of the American east coast! Eery summer, Lorient is the rallying point for all those who love Celtic lands. For a week in August, from Galicia to Scotland, the cream of Celtic entertainment and music is to be found in Brittany, to be savoured with joy and good humour.
