‘Pan O’wn y Gwanwyn’ will be the first single from the AWEN EP.. it is an original adaption of the traditional folk song, with a haunting medieval melody that captures the essence of Spring, a reflective season for both nature and self. I will be releasing this track and EP independently through my own label called ‘Recordiau TARIAN Records’.

This first collaborative track of the EP is layered with rich vocal harmonies, mystical tones of the flute, haunting sounds of the Tagelhrapa , rhythmic guitar & percussion. A soundtrack to the Celtic rural lands of Cymru (Wales), transporting you to the beautiful historical hills, woodlands and stunning coastlines, where all wonderful wonders of nature live.

Our ancestors and welsh poets and bards, celebrated what they called “Awen”, which is similar to “divine inspiration” or “spirit”. The spring equinox or Alban Eilir which means “Light of the Earth” celebrates all life in all living things, from rocks and stones, to rivers and springs, plants and trees - all life is sacred.

“Pan O’wn Y Gwanwyn” will be the first single from the ‘Awen’ EP out on the 29th of March on Friday.. I am Looking forward to sharing new music to the universe.
